Ophelia

In the summer she turned seventeen, God played a joke on Ophelia.

Her picture-perfect parents suddenly divorced. Her father left for Europe with his mistress, while her mother announced that she was going to marry her former "true love."

Then this "true love" moved into an Upper East Side mansion from the Dino slums, bringing along his son from a previous relationship, and became the biggest stain on Ophelia's once-perfect life.
