A Guide to Rising to the Top of the Music Scene [Showbiz]

[No unsolicited writing advice or thread-jacking] Rachel Love has always been a bad woman. For the sake of fame and popularity, she would even exploit her own melodramatic backstory. A few trivial relationships were nothing to her. Some called her the "Queen of Publicity Stunts," others the "Gold Digger," but so what? She was still a bestselling, top-tier singer, the new queen of pop, and a one-of-a-kind pop icon! . Rachel had a very long dream. She dreamed she was a supporting character in a romance novel, and every hardship she had truly endured served as a foil to the perfect lives of the male and female leads. "She" was the greatest stain on the life of the male lead's genius father, an illegitimate daughter he refused to acknowledge. Like her mother, she was born poor and chose to debase herself; like her maternal grandfather, she was deranged, dangerous, and uncontrollable. "She" was a malicious, stupid troublemaker, beaten and cheated on by her trash boyfriend, her singing voice ruined by a decadent life, and trampled into the mud by the two protagonists. They stepped on "her" to achieve success, then judged her in the end: She got what she deserved. The dream ended. Rachel's path to becoming a DIVA had only just begun... * NetEase Cloud Music playlist: Best DIVA (includes most of the songs mentioned in this story) Album-only playlists: Best DIVA 1st. What Is Love; Best DIVA 2nd. Born To Be Free * DIVA: Originally meant "goddess"; later used for the leading female role in an opera; in Western pop music, it refers to a highly influential top-tier female singer, especially one with powerful vocals. . Content warnings: * Not a romance with one heroine, but the protagonist is a total Mary Sue. The early story focuses on her career. * The Western entertainment industry setting assumes everyone is a real person. There will be multiple relationships, impulsive marriages and divorces, remarriage, and other melodramatic plotlines. No need to ask who the male lead is. * This story is entirely fictional. Its details are based on online sources or the author's imagination. Some timelines have been changed, and there are plenty of original headcanons, so please don't take it too seriously. .
