The Merchant and the Monster

Xin Que is a wandering merchant with no fixed home, often traveling through the territories of different races to peddle odds and ends. Nothing is easy these days, and doing business is even harder. To make a better living, Xin Que learned to sing, play instruments, dance, wield swords and spears, swindle people, and talk absolute nonsense... And cheerfully put all these skills to use on her customers. At that moment, a Medusa/merfolk/werewolf/witch/alchemist/necromancer/elf/demon/dragon, all deeply victimized by her and unwilling to reveal their names, pulled out their weapons. jpg Xin Que is such a miserly swindler that even dragons curse her for being a skinflint. But that doesn't stop everyone from loving the swindler, with members of every race taking turns confessing to her. [You ask why I like a swindler?] [Because even though this woman is a hopeless skinflint, she looks so cool when she works herself to the bone for money!!!] Reader's guide: * Everyone has a one-sided crush on Xin Que. * Xin Que has a one-sided crush on gold coins. * Everyone except the heroine is a monster.
