Court Intrigue Is No Match for Winning Over the Eunuch

Meng Xinghe hopes her husband won't take concubines, but the emperor wants the exact opposite. Worse still, next year she'll be chosen as a palace maiden and become the emperor's concubine. To escape the palace intrigues, Meng Xinghe decides to get engaged to someone as an act, miss the selection, and then find a way to break off the engagement. On the day she throws the embroidered ball to choose a husband, she hits Jiu Zhuochen, a eunuch attendant passing by, right on the head. Jiu Zhuochen steadies his hat and gives her a sidelong glance. "Miss, are your arms injured? Why not see a doctor?" Meng Xinghe looks at his eunuch's uniform and is instantly delighted. "They're fine, they're fine! If you don't have someone you love, I'll send a matchmaker to your door!" "Oh, so you're blind." He turns to leave, but Meng Xinghe grabs him by the arm. "I've realized that whoever I marry might take concubines," she says, gripping him tightly. "Those men aren't as virtuous as you, are they?" Jiu Zhuochen frees himself from her grasp and curls his lips into a cold smile. "Won't you think it over?" Meng Xinghe chases after him. "I can wash clothes, cook, make the bed, massage your legs and shoulders. You won't lose out by getting engaged to me!" Jiu Zhuochen stops and looks back at her. "All right. I happen to need someone to wait on me." But later, he cherishes her with all his heart and can't bear to let her serve him. Note: 1. The male lead is a real eunuch. 2. One-on-one, emotionally and physically. Please follow my author page~ I've already decided to lie flat with a real eunuch and accept the fact that I can't write a fully intact male lead...
