I Wish to Become the Eunuch's Companion

Chang Ruowu was very fond of the young man who often came to her family's teahouse. She had even quietly asked around about him. He was an official named Wu Yuzhi. Her birth father had died early, and after her birth mother remarried and had a son, Chang Ruowu became an unwanted burden in the household. She was scolded and beaten morning and night, and even her name had been chosen with careless indifference. Only he would smile and say, "Thank you," when she brought him tea. And when she accidentally knocked over a teacup and spilled tea on his clothes, he stopped her stepfather from beating her and gently asked whether she'd been frightened. After hearing her parents discuss selling her for a high price as a second wife to an old widower who had beaten his wife and daughter to death, Chang Ruowu mustered her courage and sought out Wu Yuzhi. "I have feelings for you, sir. Could I come with you? I wouldn't mind being your personal maid!" Wu Yuzhi's smile faded, and even took on a hint of mockery. "Before you say that, do you know that I entered the palace at eight and have now been a eunuch for fourteen whole years?" "I'm sorry." Chang Ruowu lowered her head and twisted her fingers together, then asked softly, "If you don't have a companion yet, sir, would you consider me?" Note: 1. The male lead is a true eunuch. 2. One-to-one romance, body and heart devoted to each other. Please follow my author page! I'm a writer who currently only knows how to write true eunuchs. Show me some love!
