After I Faked My Death, My Scumbag Ex Completely Fell Apart

On the fifth anniversary of Lin Yao's relationship with his wealthy boss, he received two "gifts." One was the happy news that his boss was engaged to another woman. On the third day after his boss's engagement, Lin Yao was murdered and his body burned. The police investigated the victim's personal connections and identified three men who might be connected to his death: [The wealthy boss who kept him for five years and was about to marry someone else] [His former captain and ex-boyfriend, now a top-tier star] [His older stepbrother, who hated gay people and had kicked him out of the family home] On the day of the murder, the victim broke up with his boss, sent a package to his ex-boyfriend, and called his stepbrother. Investigators discovered that the wealthy boss, who had scoffed at the interrogation during the day, spent his nights listening again and again to the songs the victim had heard and examining every clue the victim had left behind. He looked haggard and even called off his wedding. The top-tier star, who refused to explain what was in the package, stayed up all night watching clips from the victim's variety shows, with his bedroom covered in posters of him. The cold, taciturn stepbrother could only fall asleep while clutching his younger brother's clothes. He suddenly realized that his hidden homophobia was actually his own... On the seventh day after Lin Yao's murder, the Ren Group's stock price fell, the top-tier star withdrew from public life, and a renowned doctor made a mistake during surgery and was put on six months' leave. Whether or not they were the murderers, they had all gone mad. 1. The victim faked his death and changed love interests. The story involves punishing scumbag love interests.
