Beautiful, Powerful, and Tragic Forensic Specialist Gong × Brash, Handsome, Thick-Skinned, Sharp-Tongued Criminal Investigation Captain Shou
Gu Qiao was the star of the Dongcheng Public Security Bureau's Criminal Investigation Team. More accurately, he used to be. As for Xiao Lin, the newly appointed chief of the Forensics Department who had taken his title, Gu Qiao's assessment was simple: gorgeous, cold, hard to approach. Just standing next to him could freeze a person solid. But Gu Qiao had always been a cheeky sort, and he wasn't afraid of a little cold. He kept hanging around Xiao Lin and teasing him every few days. Whenever Xiao Lin coldly told him to "get lost," his ears would turn red and hot, which made Gu Qiao absolutely delighted. After all, Xiao Lin acted like he had no interest in anyone.
Then one night, the lights suddenly went out in the autopsy room. In the pitch dark, instruments clattered to the floor. Gu Qiao called out to Xiao Lin again and again, but he didn't answer. When the fluorescent lights came back on, Gu Qiao was stunned. The usually aloof and chaste Chief Xiao stood with his head lowered, clutching Gu Qiao's sleeve. His beautiful black eyes were damp, and his voice trembled.
"Brother, I... I'm scared." Xiao Lin pointed at the corpse he'd just finished dissecting.
Gu Qiao: "..." Oh no. Did I tease him so much he snapped? What do I do now?
Little scene:
One day afterward, Xiao Lin loosened his tie and pinned Gu Qiao to the cold autopsy table. His low voice was both icy and seductive. "Go on, say it again if you dare."
Gu Qiao swallowed. "Xiao... Xiao Mengmeng, what are you doing?"
Xiao Lin smiled, pale and dangerous. "I'll show you just how fierce I can be."
Gu Qiao: "!!!" Wait, that's the second tone!
