Gu transmigrated into a book, and not just any book: a cultivation novel that was supposedly tagged as a feel-good power fantasy but turned out to be a massive pitfall!
Gu had started following the novel only because it featured an amazing character: an Immortal Venerable with an exalted status and a noble, aloof personality who even shared his name. Sure, he was only the male lead’s master, but he was still an important figure. It was pretty satisfying to imagine himself in the role while reading.
But after reading further, Gu was so angry he wanted to change his name. He really wanted to ask if the Immortal Venerable had been kicked in the head by a donkey. The young male lead was practically an angel, pouring his heart out to him, obeying him in every way, and treating him with the utmost reverence. Yet in the end, this damned, cold-blooded master crippled his cultivation, cut out his spirit core, broke his spiritual bones, and cast him out of the sect.
Fuming with rage, Gu waited eagerly for the little angel to make his glorious comeback and take down that cold-blooded master. But what came instead was a bolt from the blue:
The author dropped the novel! Where was the promised power fantasy? Where was the revenge? What a waste of emotional investment!
So after Gu transmigrated into the cold-blooded master, he decided to dote on the little angel disciple, who was unloved by the cold-blooded master in the book and neglected by the author outside it. He would spoil him as much as he could!
But why did the little angel turn into a little devil when it came to him?! He spoiled him so much he nearly lost his life. After thinking it over, Gu decided to use the trick of escaping by faking his death, saving his own skin and putting as much distance as possible between himself and the little devil. But then the truth came out, and Gu’s heart sank. He thought he was surely going to die for good this time. But when he saw the little devil clutching him tightly and refusing to let go, sobbing so hard he could barely catch his breath, he was completely stunned. Something about this didn’t seem quite right...
Short skit
The gentle little devil: “Master, please have some tea.”
The cold-sweating master: “May I be so bold as to ask what poison you’ve put in your master’s tea today, good, good disciple?”
The little devil begins to undress: “Don’t worry, Master. It’s just aphrodisiac powder.”
The next second
Gu, wailing: “That damn author! Give me back my little angel!!!”
P.S. A gentle, sweet, disciple-spoiling master on the receiving end x a tsundere, beautiful little angel disciple on the pursuing end, who first wants nothing but to kill his master and later wants nothing but to “do” him.
Theme: If God closes a door for you, He will surely open a bright window
