[I don't think I can write a convincing happy-ending crematorium story, so I'm changing it to a tragic short story and making it free]
At Fu Tao's eighteenth birthday party, her father hinted that she could start seriously looking for someone to date in the future.
In her pink tulle dress, she was the very picture of an innocent little princess who knew nothing of the world.
She looked around in confusion. Someone came up behind her, his low, husky voice full of temptation.
"Li Song? He's already twenty-eight."
Fu Tao turned and glared at him. The man's features were striking and sharp, and his eyes were full of mockery and cruelty.
She ignored him and continued looking elsewhere.
But he wouldn't leave her alone. "Ji Mingli? He's young, at least. If you don't mind that he has eleven girlfriends."
Fu Tao couldn't take it anymore. "Shut up."
The young man smiled coldly. "Little girl."
"Here's a piece of advice."
"Your best choice is me. My name is Zhang Chi."
Later, by some strange twist of fate, Fu Tao really did choose him, only to discover she'd fallen into a honey-sweet trap.
Zhang Chi was a prince bent on revenge, and Fu Tao was the rose princess he had to possess.
To him, she was nothing more than the perfect person to hand him the knife.
She left him on a bright, sunny day. Zhang Chi found her on a snowy night.
His voice was hoarse. "Taotao, we're not finished."
A naive yet cruel smile played on Fu Tao's lips.
"Be my plaything, and I'll play along with you."
"All right."
In the snow, he pulled her into his arms, wishing he could press her into his body and devour her whole.
Only then did they learn who belonged to whom, and who was the caged bird.
Reader's Guide
1. A crematorium story, with a fake forced-romance setup. It's melodramatic, melodramatic, and extremely melodramatic, so please go easy on me.
2. No personal attacks.
3. One-on-one, both leads' first relationship, tragic ending, tragic ending, tragic ending. Important things must be said three times.
