My Owner Is a Fan of My Career

The best actor Ming Shu signs an under-the-table contract with Bai Mojiang, an obscure actor from the bottom rung of the industry.

He doesn't know the contract is also a demon pact, making him the owner of a big cat without either of them realizing it.

After becoming his master unilaterally, Bai Mojiang the big cat thinks he can stop trying so hard.

The next day, faced with the best actor's painstaking career plan for him, Bai Mojiang frowns and realizes things aren't so simple.

First, his owner is rich, powerful, handsome, and well-connected. Convinced Bai Mojiang is a promising talent, he deigns to give him one-on-one acting lessons and pushes him to work hard from every angle, hoping he'll soon become a star in the entertainment industry.

Second, his owner is a trouble magnet with something wrong in his head. After managing to alienate the entire entertainment industry all by himself, he goes on to provoke a crowd of humans and nonhumans eyeing his wealth and status.

As a demon bound by contract, Bai Mojiang thought he could lie flat and enjoy a happy life being pampered with good food and valuable resources. Instead, he has to complete the tasks his owner assigns him to become famous while also taking on all the forces threatening his owner's safety.

What's it like to have a best actor backing you, with all kinds of amazing opportunities raining down on you?

Bai Mojiang: Thanks for asking. I'm on set, just wrapped a scene, and still have to squeeze time out of my schedule to deal with the people plotting against my owner. I'm so tired I'm shedding fur.
