After Exorcising Demons on Livestream

Jiang Peifeng, a rookie exorcist who has only just left the beginner's village, finds himself transported forty years into the future, right in the middle of his own funeral.

Unaware of what's going on, he smashes his future self's memorial tablet, beats up his future self's underlings, and turns the farewell ceremony into utter chaos.

At last, his future self's old friend drags him to the government's exorcism department.

A series of blunders by an unlicensed temp worker handling the registration turns him into an undocumented person.

So here's the question.

Some people are alive, but already dead.

So what now?

Working for a living is out of the question. He can only switch careers and make ends meet by livestreaming explorations.

But why does this trendy new job still have him dealing with demons and evil spirits every day?

Much later, he hosts a Q&A.

Q: Why do you always run into ghosts on your livestreams?

Jiang Peifeng: Because I have a remarkable partner who keeps coming up with new ways to get themselves killed.

Q: How do you always survive these ghost encounters unscathed?

Jiang Peifeng: Don't ask. The answer is always, 'Trust the science.'

Theme: Trust the science.
