Some villains in these small worlds refuse to follow the plot, causing bugs in the worlds. Since all the other task-takers have failed, Xie Lin from the Combat Division is temporarily assigned to fix the problem.
World One: Modern
A gloomy, self-loathing illegitimate younger brother of the villain, bullied by others
This is a coming-of-age school story. The villain is the illegitimate younger brother of the male protagonist, who is the shou. He's devious and vicious, and was supposed to cause the protagonists a little trouble before being successfully written off. But...the villain suddenly poisoned everyone and killed them all.
Xie Lin arrives in this world and finds the villain. Just as he's about to take him out, he sees a group of people surrounding the villain. Xie Lin assumes the villain will viciously beat them all to a pulp, but instead the villain gets surrounded and beaten up like a helpless little victim...
Wait, which one of them is supposed to be the villain here?!
Later:
System: Host! I sent you to deal with the villain, not help him!
Xie Lin: Just tell me, did I complete the mission? Are the male and female leads still alive?
System: ...You call locking all the protagonists in prison completing the mission?!
World Two: Ancient
A blustering, tsundere young master villain, a shuang'er
This is an ancient-era contrast novel. The villain, who serves as the protagonist's foil, is the shou protagonist's older brother. He was supposed to drug the gong protagonist in order to marry him. But the gong discovers him and dumps a scumbag in the villain's room, forcing the villainous younger brother to suffer the consequences and get abused to death by the scumbag. But...the villain kills the scumbag, then tries to assassinate the emperor, taking down the emperor's entire clan, including the protagonist, with him.
Now Xie Lin has transmigrated into the scumbag.
And he's already been drugged and rolled around in bed with someone. By the time he comes to, people are already blocking the door.
World Three: Modern
A real young master, villainously disfigured and despised by everyone
World Four: Modern
A vain, money-loving villainous expendable who looks down on the poor, dumps her boyfriend, and seduces a rich man
This is a modern contrast novel. The gong protagonist hides his identity to pursue the beautiful villain, but the villain accepts a contract with the expendable CEO because her family is seriously ill. The gong protagonist despises the shou for his poor character and falls in love with the kind and beautiful shou protagonist, even though she's not as pretty as the shou. He reveals his true identity, and the expendable CEO who kept the villain as a sugar baby immediately falls to his knees and begs forgiveness, abandoning the villain. The gong and shou live happily ever after, while the villain falls into poverty and his family dies without money for treatment, so he kills everyone.
The gong is now this expendable CEO...
World Five: Insectoid
A self-loathing, gloomy, vicious villain who is a devoted wife
This is an insectoid story. The gong protagonist is a male insect who transmigrated from the modern world and becomes the most popular male insect in the insectoid world. All the female insects adore him. The villain looks down on the protagonist because his rank is low at first. In the end, the villain is supposed to choose a scumbag male insect as his mate and be abused to death, but...the villain stabs his own male insect to death, then rushes over and kills the gong protagonist too.
Xie Lin has now transmigrated into the scumbag male insect's...buddy.
A devoted wife, huh? That sounds delicious.
World Six: Insectoid
Theme: Love can overcome mountains and seas
