Character moments:
1. After dealing with a troublesome vengeful spirit, Qin Yimo is pale from using too much spiritual power.
Rong Jing immediately drops his nonchalant expression and sweeps him into his arms. "Don't move. I'm taking you home."
Embarrassed, Qin Yimo struggles in his arms. "Put me down! I can walk! The livestream is still on!"
Rong Jing looks down and smiles at him tenderly. Then he turns to the livestream camera, which has accidentally caught them, and sneers. "What are you looking at? You think you can covet my man?"
The comments explode. He turns back to Qin Yimo and instantly changes his expression, speaking in a plaintive voice. "Momo, I'm scared. That ugly thing almost touched you just now. I need a kiss to feel better."
Qin Yimo covers his mouth, his ears bright red, and grits his teeth. "...What do you have to be scared of?!" Then he realizes something doesn't sound right.
Rong Jing buries his face in the crook of his neck and chuckles triumphantly. "That's right. I'm your ghost."
2. When Qin Yimo can't defeat an evil spirit:
Rong Jing holds his weakened lover tightly and declares to the countless evil spirits, "You dare touch him? Go ahead and try. Even if I must fall into eternal damnation, I will make all creation accompany him in death."
3. Facing a powerful enemy:
Qin Yimo stands in front of the injured Rong Jing. "Shut up and hide. I let you act cute whenever you wanted, but don't think I'm actually too softhearted to put you, you old ghost, to work!"
4. When Qin Yimo has to deal with a clingy Rong Jing who loves to act cute:
All Qin Yimo can do is let Rong Jing tuck his cold hands into his clothes to warm them. "What a pain... You're the Ghost King. How are you even more sensitive to the cold than I am? Come closer. Don't catch a chill."
5. When someone mocks Rong Jing:
Qin Yimo calmly takes out his weapon. "Whether he's good or bad, a god or a demon, that's for me to decide. If anyone has a problem with that, they can ask my fists and his ghost claws!"
But the other side is so terrified that they immediately run away in a panic...
