Why Does Even a Little Grass Have to Work?

[Major revisions underway. I started the wrong story, so wait while I finish it!!!!]

Legend has it that a divine herb grows on Yunhai Mountain.

Taking it can grant immortality, or perhaps cure all kinds of difficult and unusual illnesses.

*

There was only one divine herb in the world, absorbing the essence of heaven and earth and the spiritual energy of all things.

And then, the little divine herb became a spirit.

The little herb longed to experience life among humans. Just as she was about to descend to the mortal world, she was pulled into an unknown body while looking around. Several people in front of her stood with their hands on their hips, scolding her.

...What secret rendezvous? What theft? What are you talking about?

After a melodramatic back-and-forth, the little divine herb understood.

She was now in the body of an unloved young lady from a prominent family, and soon she would have to go work in the underworld!

*

The little divine herb had barely arrived when she accidentally became the underworld's darling. Whatever she did, she was forgiven.

What's wrong with being a little plant? Little plants can work, too. Little plants can protect all living beings!

P.S.:

● Short 1v1 HE story.

● An unconventional cultivation story set in the underworld.

● The heroine starts out without sentience. Read with that in mind.
