Synopsis: Takigawa Hoshi considers himself an ordinary writer, but people keep showing up at his door, claiming he's a hidden big shot and discussing the contents of his novels with him. At first, he thinks they're just joking fans, so he plays along with great dramatic flair. While traveling in Yokohama, he's inspired to write a crime novel, The Darkness of Yokohama. Before long, a bandaged man who looks like a gangster knocks on his door. “May I ask how you learned the Port Mafia's secrets, sensei?” Takigawa Hoshi: “The nights of Yokohama told me.” Takigawa Hoshi can't believe his fans are such good actors. After thinking it over, he decides to write something more uplifting instead. Just then, a mystery writing contest comes along, so he bases a story on his childhood friend and writes The Shrinking Detective. Not long after the first volume is released, a young boy in a suit knocks on his door and claims to be his childhood friend. Takigawa Hoshi: “You were definitely cuter as a kid!” To avoid getting outdone by his fans' acting again, Takigawa Hoshi decides to stop writing about real-world subjects and instead writes a fantasy novel, Curse. A week later, Takigawa Hoshi wakes up to find a white-haired, blue-eyed man sitting on his windowsill. “Who told you to write that I was going to be sealed away?” Takigawa Hoshi: “Who wrote that you were sealed away?! Who are you?!” He already writes surreal fiction, so why is there still a chuunibyou climbing through his window?! It isn't until Takigawa Hoshi finally realizes that the novels he writes are all coming true, and that the fans aren't just joking with him, that it hits him. By then, he's already been “surrounded” by people from all kinds of scientific and supernatural organizations, all demanding new chapters. Takigawa Hoshi: “SOS!” Theme: The past is behind you. Walk toward the future ahead.
