After I hailed a taxi and got into Nakahara Chuuya’s Ferrari, my life started getting weird.
Here’s what happened: I was out with friends, and it was too late for the subway, so I hailed a taxi home like I always did.
Five minutes later, a red Ferrari pulled up in front of me.
The driver had red hair, blue eyes, and a black hat. He was obviously cosplaying the Gravity Manipulator, and he was incredibly handsome, with a very convincing build.
As I debated whether to ask for a photo, the mysterious cosplayer spoke in a voice that sounded exactly like Chuuya’s.
“Are you getting in? We’re running out of time.”
He even said it in Japanese.
Me: ...?
Has cosplay gotten this competitive these days?
Once we got home and I got out, the guy couldn’t keep up the act anymore and suddenly went completely out of character.
In a heavily accented voice, he said:
“Last night, I read a book that made me cry the whole time.”
“What book was it?”
“Meeting you, I’d gladly accept defeat.”
My toes curled from the sheer cheesiness. Awkwardness was all I could feel that night.
After that, every time I hailed a taxi, I ended up in this Ferrari.
This cosplayer took his role as the Gravity Manipulator very seriously and was fluent in Japanese and English. But every now and then, he’d suddenly go off the rails and launch into cheesy pickup lines.
The worst part was that we couldn’t really communicate. My Japanese was mediocre, and I couldn’t understand his English. The only things I could understand perfectly were the corny lines coming out of his mouth.
I thought he was weird enough, but then I met even more bizarre cosplayers. Gojo was delivering food, the Red King came knocking to cook, Oda dragged me off to a job interview, Sukuna in Itadori’s skin was out doing good deeds, and even the Demon King was picking up trash in a lonely frog mascot suit...???
Then one day, as the Ferrari was driving down the street, it suddenly ended up in Yokohama, Japan. Five towering black buildings loomed into view.
!!!
At that moment, I understood.
This wasn’t cosplay. It was the real deal.
Having spent years hanging around a certain green website, I patted the Gravity Manipulator on the shoulder with pity for his out-of-character behavior.
“Chuuya-san, you, System, kidnapped, you wink.”
Later, I discovered that Chuuya wasn’t the only unlucky one plagued by a System. All those cosplayers who were incredibly true to their characters yet suddenly went out of character in bizarre ways were the real deal, every last one of them!
///
The Gravity Manipulator was bound to a bizarre System that ordered him to win over a woman in a “game world.”
But the System was a total scam.
Every time he painstakingly raised her affection level, it plummeted the moment he completed one of the System’s so-called pickup-line missions. When the Gravity Manipulator was forced to spout disgusting, corny lines, heaven knew how badly he wanted to use Corruption to destroy the System.
The effects of those lines made him feel like he was covered in a thick layer of grease, and earned him a whole bunch of abnormal titles.
The titles reflected the target’s immediate impression of him, including but not limited to:
[1. Creep who gives out roses
2. Man with a hidden gay side
3. Japanese guy with something wrong with his brain]
System: Attention, attention! The target is in a bad mood. Player, tell her a pickup line! Your line for this round: Flowers fade, people get dull, but my love for you will never say goodbye!
Gravity Manipulator: Complicated feelings.jpg
Please note:
1. Chuuya’s cheesy-pickup-line System is genuinely terrible, so it’s normal to feel greasy reading it.
2. 1v1, pairing: Gravity Manipulator. The heroine narrates in first person. See the cover for her appearance.
3. Multiple characters get bound to Systems and transmigrate into the real world. Chuuya takes the heroine through time later on.
4. Mostly everyday life, with many foreshadowed plot points and a slow-moving main storyline.
5. This is a wild, freewheeling idea. Complete.

After reincarnating, I became a pastry chef and opened a dessert shop called Time in Yokohama with my friend Mitsuri.
Our customers must really love our desserts, because they always smile with happiness after tasting them.
Yokohama is often hit by chaos, and whenever our dessert shop is in danger, a customer always steps forward to protect it.
Gravity Manipulator: Gravity control warning!
Former Serpent Hashira: Serpent Breathing warning!
Water Breathing squad: Water-style decapitation warning!
Younger brother in the distant town of Hachihara: Youkai sleep paralysis warning!
Best friend I grew up with: Clow Card warning!
The beloved child of the jujutsu world who loves sweets: Imaginary Technique, Purple
The former hitman writing a novel in the corner starts pulling out a gun...
Mitsuri was deeply moved. She hugged me and said, “Seigetsu, everyone really loves the desserts we make~”
Watching our enemies get beaten to a pulp, I sighed. “Yokohama is nuclear-free again today.”
Chuuya had a secret: he liked Fujiwara Seigetsu, the pastry chef at Time dessert shop.
Seigetsu was an ordinary person living in a world of light. As a Mafia executive, he didn’t dare confess, afraid she might get hurt by enemy organizations.
Chuuya thought Seigetsu should be happy making desserts in her shop. As long as she was safe and happy, he didn’t mind if they couldn’t be together.
Later, on the fifth underground level of Shibuya Fukutoshin Line Station, Chuuya was surrounded by monsters. Just as he was about to crush them with gravity, he saw
Seigetsu was floating in midair, her body glowing with holy white light. She stared frostily at the monsters on the ground.
“Summer Vessel.”
As soon as she spoke, Chuuya saw one of the dessert shop’s employees, the man with a topknot who was always smiling, turn into the katana in Seigetsu’s hand.
Seigetsu swung her sword with her right hand. In an instant, her figure became a streak of white light, darting among the monsters.
The monsters wailed, and blood splattered everywhere.
Seigetsu flicked the blood from her katana and smiled at him. “Good evening, Chuuya.”
“As expected of a god, you’re terrifying.”
“Even as a Divine Weapon, Geto is pretty impressive~”
Nearby, the blindfolded white-haired man who was always bothering Seigetsu clapped with a grin.
Riko, the dessert shop’s second employee, folded her arms and huffed. “That’s so unfair! It was supposed to be my turn to become a Divine Weapon for Lady Seigetsu to use!”
Beside them, Seigetsu’s friend Mitsuri swung a monster into the crowd of monsters and shouted excitedly, “I’m the one who taught little Moon her swordsmanship!”
When the bizarre monsters died, they turned into ordinary human beings.
Chuuya’s mind went blank. He couldn’t think, and his pupils shook with shock.
“...Huh?”
It turned out the woman he liked wasn’t ordinary at all. She wasn’t even human.
Please note:
1. Pairing: Chuuya, pastry chef × Gravity Manipulator.
2. Chuuya has an unrequited crush on her.
3. The Demon Slayer cast is reincarnated into the present day. Includes Hozuki’s underworld and Yato’s gods.
4. The pastry chef heroine has a secret identity as a god and a golden finger.
5. The Gravity Manipulator pretends he isn’t in the Mafia, while the heroine hides her identity as a god.

Hahahahahahaha A Gang, Weiyou got married right under your nose (poof)
The front part is okay, but the back story of the previous life is so delayed that I have to re-open a new book. It's a pity to abandon it, and it's tasteless.
I don't know what other friends think, but I'm a little tired after reading this. The timeline is so confusing.
Nice! ! Since the ink screen is inconvenient to type, there are no comments on each chapter. There are many chapters that I would like to leave comments on. It's better to eat with BGM!
23333, I am jealous of myself, it seems like something Chuuya can do.
Well, I bought it all at once... But the sweet text is not sweet at all! ! I just skipped through the middle chapters. As I get older, I still like to watch the sweetness from beginning to end...
