Mocini's Curse

[Majiya Demon Hunter AU]

'You will wander the earth for three thousand years, and no one anywhere will give you the time of day. You will wander the wilderness alone, without a companion, you contemptible wretch! For you have no place among humankind. You, diseased and reeking of pus and blood, with an evil soul! You will wander everywhere, dwelling in forests where few have ever set foot...'

Ma Xi had already forgotten what else happened during those days when he had just been cursed by Mo Xini, when life was worse than death...

Back then, he was a sickly, wounded monster, hated by everyone. Just like when Su Youda was cursed and turned into a vampire bird... Shunned by the world for his savage, filthy appearance, he wandered through the woods...

He hated the witch who had turned him into this, the enemy who had killed his dearest friend, this absurd world, and himself... The self who had failed to protect his father, failed to save his friend, and in the end had even abandoned every last principle out of despair.

As he aimlessly exiled himself, he gradually forgot many people and many things, until he almost forgot who he was... Only two names lingered faintly in his memory... the names of two people he wanted to see.

Theme: Even if the whole world despises you, my friend, at least you still have me.
