Shortly after entering the human world, Liang Shu, a pudding hamster, was so desperately poor that he gritted his teeth and signed up for a live-streamed horror survival show. He moved into a haunted house.

Then he became the bravest civilian contestant in the show's history.

After work, he came home and opened the storeroom door. He carried off the gloomy, fire-breathing dragon, gave it a bath, scrubbed its scales, and used a hair dryer to give it a new hairstyle.

After making dinner, he opened the basement door and delivered some horn balm to the demon who spread terror and endless darkness. He even helped turn on the little star-shaped night-light.

After his morning run, he gave the pale vampire some fresh spicy blood curd from the market and sunscreen. He burned a sun umbrella with a UV-protective coating for the evil spirit searching for its head and left arm, and set up karaoke for the resentful spirit wailing miserably.

Sleepily, with a toothbrush in his mouth, he opened the bathroom door and saw a cat crouched in the bathtub.

He closed the door.
