Just Keep Your Eyes on Me

Ye Liangqiu, the new forensic pathologist on the criminal investigation team, is dedicated and highly skilled, but she's a scaredy-cat. She is afraid of everything except her actual work. To help her overcome this, Zhao Wumian, the criminal investigation team captain who has just returned from studying in Britain, held his breath as he stepped around severed arms and legs scattered across the floor, dodged anatomy books spread open on the table, and avoided the little skeleton in the corner, trying to find a way to desensitize her. The robbery had barely begun when the young woman's face turned deathly pale. The kidnapping was only halfway through when her eyes turned red. The gunshots had only rung out twice when tears were already welling in her eyes. Zhao Wumian sighed, gently turned Ye Liangqiu's head, and brushed his lips against her cool ones. "If you're really scared, just look at me." [Cool, elite criminal investigation captain x timid little forensic pathologist who's afraid of everything but the dead] --If the world is too scary, just look at me.
