Crime City Simulator

[Original Plot, Some Settings Inspired by GTA and Watch Dogs. The Protagonist Fights Crime and Upholds Justice in a City of Sin.]

Xie Qingyuan woke up inside an RPG she had played before, as a private detective who had just been shot dead.

The good news: she was bound to a resurrection System. As long as she lowered the city's crime rating to the required level, she could come back to life.

The bad news: the game was set in a crime-ridden metropolis, teeming with ruthless, highly intelligent criminals with supernatural abilities, as well as powerful criminal organizations.

Xie Qingyuan looked at her character screen.

[Level: LV.1. Class: Private Detective (self-proclaimed), Top Hacker (self-proclaimed)]

[Current Reputation: -10 (You were beaten up by middle school students for tricking them out of their pocket money to gamble)]

[Combat Power: 5 (I've never seen such a textbook example of a combat weakling)]

Then she looked at her quest list:

[Series Quest - City Cleaner: Punish these criminals who don't know their place! (Click to expand list)]

[Stop the bank robbers and save the hostages! (One-star difficulty)]

[Take down the lair of criminal organization ■■! (Two-star difficulty)]

[Foil the conspiracy of hacker organization ■■! (Three-star difficulty)]

[...]

Xie Qingyuan: Is this really something a private detective (self-proclaimed), such a weakling that she can't even beat middle school students, is supposed to do?! (angry.jpg)

To stay alive, she had no choice but to fight crime day and night and uphold justice.

As she relentlessly rooted out evil and took in members of bankrupt organizations, it didn't take long for her to become the city's biggest

underworld boss.

Rumors also spread that Xie Qingyuan had made her fortune by preying on other criminals.

Xie Qingyuan, now the mayor: ...? Huh? I'm the criminal mastermind?
