I Became the Lord of All Ghosts Through My Secret Identity

Coming soon: After Binding Myself to an Evil God Chat Group: I thought my chat group friends were all chuuni, but it turns out they're actually evil gods. Huangquanchuan Jiuyuan is a poor high school boy who enters a talent show because he covets the prize money. He wins countless fans along the way. Unfortunately, he is eliminated in the final round due to a rigged result, missing out on the enormous prize. Just as he is about to be evicted for failing to pay rent, he binds himself to a paranormal System and gains the ability to play characters from bizarre urban legends. And so he spends his days acting out urban legends, building up his reputation, and earning money. [The Slit-Mouthed Man] He was a star at a small company. His agency forced him to undergo plastic surgery to become famous, but he died on the operating table. Unwilling to accept his fate, he walks the streets of Yokohama in a black, waterproof coat. His sharp pair of scissors drags across the ground, leaving a trail behind him. Half of his pale face peeks out from behind his mask, and his glazed-blue eyes gleam in the night. "Am I beautiful?" [Hanako in the Bathroom] In the bathroom on the third floor of the technical college, if you knock on the door and ask, "Is Hanako there?" A frail, sickly boy in a white shirt and red suspenders will answer your call with a cough. He reaches out his hand. "Is there... anything you wish to make come true?" ...And the character at the end of the urban legend story is even marked with a red "DANGER" seal. [Kisaragi Station] The train refuses to stop. The station is deserted, yet its sign bears the name of a station that doesn't exist. You leave the platform to look for another way out, but the path is dark and seems to stretch on forever. Just as you are about to break down and collapse from exhaustion, a beautiful young man carrying a lantern appears ahead. The shifting shadows of the trees fall across his smiling lips. "My home is just up ahead. Would you like to come rest at my place?" Looking at the increasingly fearsome urban legend characters, Jiuyuan can't help wondering if he can really pull it off. But when he sees the string of zeroes after the cash rewards, the starving Jiuyuan's eyes light up, and he starts grinding achievements. Jiuyuan: I was going to say no, but he was offering way too much. The Slit-Mouthed Man with his giant scissors on the streets of Yokohama, the male Hanako in the technical college's men's bathroom, the mysterious beautiful young man at Kisaragi Station... Jiuyuan: That's right, it's me. It's also said that above all the urban legends stands the Lord of a Hundred Demons, whose followers are all these terrifying figures. Jiuyuan: ...Ahem. That's me, too. Notes: 1. The protagonist will attract some romantic interest, but he ends up with no one. 2. A weird, self-indulgent story. OOC and headcanons everywhere. 3. Bugs all over the place. Please don't overthink them. Theme: Keep yourself in check. Don't do evil just because it's trivial.
