I Drained the Planet Dry

In every species, there are always one or two individuals who are especially lucky.

Take A Xing, for example.

Over billions of years, his fellow species died one after another due to climate change, biological disasters, celestial impacts, and all kinds of other factors.

Only he survived.

He even outlived his home planet.

Now, he is like a towering tree, its roots studded with countless ping-pong balls.

His branches and leaves flourish, blotting out the sky.

But the planet beneath his roots has already been pierced through and shattered.

So where should he move now?

When intelligent life forms that had entered the era of interstellar civilization first explored this empty star region,

they were incredibly excited.

This vast expanse of space meant countless resources they could squander as they pleased.

But strangely, where were all the celestial bodies? Why wasn't there a single one?

When people realized what terrifying thing they had brought back to their own star region,

they, so accustomed to being predators, finally felt unprecedented fear and despair.

But by then, it was already too late
