If You Don't Behave, You'll Get Eaten

Alec is a simple demon from a remote backwater in the Netherworld.

Ever since he was little, he'd heard that the world beyond the barrier was filled with terrifying demon-eating creatures.

The air was full of fine golden threads that could kill demons.

His grandfather used to scare him as a child, threatening to throw him out there if he misbehaved.

Just hearing about that place made Alec tremble.

But fate had other plans. After diligently holding up for thousands of years, the barrier finally developed a breach.

The unlucky, simple-minded demon was sucked inside by accident

The Holy Temple Knights had guarded the barrier for thousands of years.

They were always prepared to sacrifice themselves to protect the continent.

It was their duty, and the greatest honor of their lives.

At last, the day they had awaited arrived.

After praying, the knights silently put on their identification tags. They had heard demons only ate silver, so these badges were the only things that could survive on the battlefield, proof that they had fought for honor.

Everyone prepared for the possibility that not even their bones would remain. When they reached the crack in the breached barrier,

there stood only a tiny, skinny demon, dressed in rags and wrapped up so completely that not an inch of skin showed. Trembling, it held out a clod of dirt to them.

"XDAF AFDA DS"

Knight Commander: "What is it saying?"

Old Priest: "It's saying this stuff is really filling, so we shouldn't eat it, "

Knight Commander and the knights: "..."

Knight Commander and the knights: "Weren't we promised a vicious, bloodthirsty, countless army of demons? And this is what we get?"

Not long after,

Knight Commander: "No wonder it's a demon. One demon is enough to destroy the entire Holy See."

Old Priest: "Mmm, delicious. Give me another!"
