[Demon Slayer] I'm Just an Ordinary Person

I'm an extremely ordinary person living an utterly unremarkable life.

That is, apart from the fact that I was cruelly dismembered at birth and casually abandoned in the wilderness, as if the person who did it hated me with all their heart.

Luckily, my adoptive father happened to be going up the mountain to gather firewood as usual that day, and found me on the brink of death by chance.

Amazingly, using only the ordinary herbs the two villagers had habitually gathered on the mountain and stockpiled, they somehow managed to save me.

The kind old couple couldn't bear to leave me in the wilderness, where I was sure to die, so they took me in.

My adoptive father in particular was an excellent carpenter. He made me wooden limbs suited to my missing ones. They could be taken off whenever I wanted and were incredibly sturdy. I couldn't break them no matter what I did. (Remember this part.)

My parents and I lived peacefully for ten years, until disaster suddenly struck.

I had gone down the mountain to get medicine for my father and crossed paths with a demon. By the time I returned home, all that remained was blood and scattered remains.

So I will fight demons to the death, especially the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji.

(That no-good boss: Ah, don't come over here!!! Which idiot brought this god of death after me?!!!!!!!)

Can you guess who the protagonist is? Does their life story seem a little familiar?

Their life story was inspired by Hyakkimaru.
