Blame My Boss

In her colleagues' eyes, Gu Yin is diligent and responsible, aloof, and hard to get along with. But when she gets home, she's the kind of shut-in who'd rather sit than stand and lie down than sit.

After work, she doesn't want to go out or socialize. The kind of socializing called "dating" is even more unappealing. Miss Gu just wants to lie in bed and play on her phone.

If anyone tries to persuade her to date, saying dating doesn't mean marriage, that dating is wonderful, and that skipping straight to a blind date and marriage will leave regrets, she'll just give them an awkward laugh.

Who could know she's already had two relationships practically like marriages, and was just about to break up with the man in the second one?

Both times, her partner was Mr. Xia, and both times, she was the one who initiated the "divorce."

Mr. Xia tried his best to keep smiling.

After Gu Yin broke up with him, Xia Zheng asked why. Her answer was: If you want someone to blame, blame my boss. Work makes me irritable and quick to anger. I don't want to take it out on you or waste either of our time. Going our separate ways is the best ending for us.

The truth: Try dating a high-energy extrovert and you'll understand. She'd never date someone with that much energy again.
