"Susac syndrome."

"Mr. Gu, your boyfriend is sick."

"The patient has memory impairment and can only remember things from the last 24 hours. In other words, tomorrow he'll forget this moment."

It took Gu Yu seven years to finally win Tao Jia over. Once they were together, he cherished and spoiled him with all his heart, afraid his willful, pampered little boyfriend might suffer even the slightest grievance.

He never expected that one day Tao Jia would ask him, eyes red, looking lost and heartbroken, "Are you still in touch with your old flame?"

Gu Yu was confused. "My old flame?"

Tao Jia turned away, his voice bitter. "I saw you writing him letters and calling him Tutu."

Gu Yu thought for a moment. Wasn't that the diary he'd prepared for Tao Jia a few days ago?

*

When Tao Jia woke up in the morning, he opened the diary in his arms and saw the first line he'd written the day before:

[Your boyfriend is called Gu Yu. He's about to run away with his old flame.]

When Gu Yu came home that day, he found that the shy, willful young master had suddenly started making clumsy attempts to seduce him.

His white shirt hung loose, concealing Tao Jia's slender waist beneath it.

"I'm seducing you," Tao Jia declared.

"I've tainted you, so I'm going to hide you away. You're not allowed to go anywhere."

*

"I entrust the past to time, and give the present and future to you."

*The author is not a professional, and this novel is largely fictional, so please don't expect it to stand up to close scrutiny. I'll collect the information and references about Susac syndrome in the column 'Brainstorming Notes'; feel free to take a look if you're interested. :3
