After the Cauldron of a Ruthless Sect Escapes

A demon born in the Land of Chaos infiltrates the territory of the Hanging Sword Sect to seek revenge for being hunted by them, hoping to uncover their weaknesses.

At the foot of a mountain covered in soft green grass, he sees a solitary figure sitting on a rock.

"Who are you?"

"I'm the youngest junior disciple in the sect. My senior brothers all call me Chaochao."

It takes the demon a long time to learn that Chaochao isn't anyone's junior disciple. He's the Hanging Sword Sect's furnace cauldron.

* Demon top x furnace cauldron bottom, happy ending. The revenge bonfire burns the senior brothers to ashes.

* This is more or less a story about rescuing someone from a life of misery. The bottom really was a furnace cauldron, and the top really is a demon, not a pure-hearted good guy.

* All the potential triggers are already in the blurb. Short story, free for the first seven days during serialization and after completion. For more short stories, see the [Milk Brick] section in my profile.

Theme: Even when trapped in the mire, keep your heart turned toward the light.
