How I, Once a Demon God, Had to Save Another World with Food

[Preorder novel: The Undying Great Labyrinth. Blurb at the end.] On her eighteenth birthday in the modern world, Gula was summoned by a goddess from another world. The goddess told her that she had once been one of the seven demon gods, the defeated demon known as "Gluttony" in the war between gods and demons on the continent of Flag. She had fled to the modern world for a long time, but the goddess had finally found her. According to the goddess, the continent of Flag had not found peace even after the gods won the war. Once the demon gods were wiped out, all the creatures on the continent lost... their desires. Everyone on the continent of Flag: No worldly desires here.jpg The goddess made a deal with Gula: if she could bring the continent of Flag back to life, the demons would also be given a place to live there. Gula: Well, even so, I don't exactly have a choice. And so, Miss Gluttony, who was supposedly once a demon god, was given a restaurant-management game app by the goddess and forced to begin her journey to save the continent with delicious food. And the handsome demigod assigned to supervise her... Gula swore that in both her worlds, she'd never met anyone so vain, fussy, and difficult to please! Demigod: This cheap taste suits someone like you, who comes from underground. Demigod: You really have no sense of style. Demigod: Stupid demon, what is even in your head? Gula clenched her fists. Once I get my powers back, I'll beat you to a pulp! But soon, she discovered a better way to deal with the demigod. Just hug him once, and the noble demigod will immediately back down: "Let go! You have no manners!" Just hold his hand, and he'll go stiff with embarrassment: "Don't push your luck!" Gula had figured it out. This demigod... was afraid of being touched! Melchior: ...Maybe demons really don't have brains. This was a fateful reunion, a turning point, and the beginning of new possibilities. [Blurb for the preorder novel The Undying Great Labyrinth:] In the Sun Era, when adventurers were everywhere, a run-down labyrinth, guarded only by a slime that had wandered inside by mistake, received an unusual stitched-together lord. She had the bones of a necromancer, the flesh of a dragon, and a soul from another world. She was destined to turn this labyrinth into a terrifying legend across the continent, and make the name of the Undying Great Labyrinth echo in every corner of the world! She would make foolish humans remember once again the fear of being ruled by monsters! And I will be your guide. So claimed Mr. Sakda, the dark elf who summoned Tina to another world. Sakda: Why did you put an undying domain around the monsters in the labyrinth? They're just nobodies who don't matter. Tina: We're short-handed! Sustainable development is what really matters, sir! Sakda: ...That does kind of make sense. Sakda: Why did you give a life potion to a dying adventurer? Those humans are as insignificant as ants... Tina: You need rewards to keep people motivated. If monsters drop loot, adventurers will come! It's a way to attract new humans! Sakda: ...That does make some sense. Sakda: Tina, tell me, why has our great labyrinth become the best training ground on the continent for humans to hone their skills? Why has the run-down village nearby become the richest adventurer town on the entire continent? And you're the owner behind that blacksmith's shop, aren't you? Tina: Well, actually, the tavern, potion shop, and alchemy workshop are all mine too... Sakda: You forgot your hatred! You forgot our lost kin and the elf tree! You forgot the humiliation we've suffered and... Tina: By the way, I bought the elf tree back. Sakda: ? Tina: I also signed peace treaties with the human empires banning the sale of elves, dwarves, beastfolk, and other creatures. Monsters under the protection of the Undying Great Labyrinth will receive the same respect and be bound by the same rules as humans. Sakda: ... Sakda: What was that thing you said about sustainable development? She treated all living things equally, like an undead creature; cherished the gleam of gold, like a dragon; and sought hope, like every human. Theme: Food can bring happiness.
