A Pretty Fool

Anxious attachment X avoidant attachment, saving each other. "He's a complete, handsome idiot. Having me love him is a blessing he couldn't earn in ten lifetimes. Unfortunately, he only loves people as shallow and stupid as himself." "You think she loves me? Wrong. Deep down, she looks down on me." We do everything we can to hide ourselves, to hide our love, until the day we can no longer keep it hidden. "I always want to love you, and I'm always prepared to spend my life alone." A stubborn, taciturn heroine who's too clever for her own good and therefore destined to suffer, yet as solid as a rock VS a handsome idiot who seems to do nothing but eat, drink, and have fun. They understand each other perfectly when it comes to anything unrelated to love. But when love is involved, all their signals fail: they read too much into every little thing and get it backwards. The two lines above were both said in anger, so they may not reflect the truth. A short, angsty story with a healing, happy ending. It's a little over a hundred thousand characters long and full of melodrama. Both the male and female leads have flaws and grow, though they still have flaws by the end. But they fit each other perfectly. P.S. Don't ask why the two leads don't just face each other down and confess their feelings, because that's not who they are. People are all kinds of strange. Theme: When it comes to love, people should be as sincere as possible, and the same goes for facing themselves.
