The Princess Turned Into a Frog [Interstellar]

Blurb 1: After beating a scumbag into submission with her mecha, Princess Anna of the Empire faints. When she wakes up, she's become a pet frog belonging to August, a poor man from the Federation. To sum up Anna's life: a ruined shack with filthy walls and dirty water, no food or drink, and a heart full of panic. No, she has to sneak onto August's personal terminal right away and contact her brother. However, August is poor and doesn't have a personal terminal. Anna: Useless! Later, August finally buys a terminal. While he's away, Anna sneaks over and carefully types with her paws the address for the royal family's secret contact site. "404 NOT FOUND!" Well, there goes that. There's a firewall. Anna wants to die. What makes her want to die even more is that August has somehow appeared behind her. He says with interest, "Ribbit, you know how to use a terminal?" Anna: Frozen.JPG. Blurb 2: After turning into a frog, Anna hides in a corner and tries to figure out who August is. He's suspiciously poor, strong and handsome but incredibly lazy, and has no personal terminal. He's a complete undocumented resident. Is he a fugitive? Or perhaps a space pirate? As a princess, she's entitled to arrest someone like him. And if she succeeds, he'll become her personal property. Anna gives a wicked smile from inside her glass tank. Later. August: "Caught you red-handed." Anna: "Well, there goes that." August, back then: "Everyone dies in the end. Whether you're president or a pauper while you're alive makes no difference. I joined the army just to kill space pirates, but that was only something to do. I wouldn't have cared if I hadn't done it. I love myself more than anyone else in the world, but I don't really love myself much either. I wouldn't mind dying the next second. If I had to find a reason to keep living, at this point in my life, I have a frog to look after. If you take something in, you have to be responsible for it. Once it dies, I won't have any ties left, and I'll be free to die whenever I want." Later... Anna: "Sorry, I'm actually a person. I won't die for the next ten years, so do me a favor and live to be two hundred." * Completed works: A Beginner's Guide to Raising Rabbits, Thank the Gods for Safety, and A Practical Guide to Stargazing. A short-tempered, delicate, wicked princess with overwhelming combat prowess x a scheming male lead who pretends to be useless but is actually just lazy Coming soon: Just for Show The day filming wrapped, Qiu Xi put on her sunglasses and left the set without looking back. She never wanted to work with Lin Han, that idiot, again for the rest of her life. To her surprise, a year later, the show became a hit just two days after it aired. As dedicated professional actors (a pair of obscure nobodies who need fans), the two embarked on a campaign of pretending to be a real-life couple. Their act worked surprisingly well. The CP fans were over the moon: if they showed chemistry, they were made for each other; if they had no chemistry and forced a conversation, they were still mutually devoted. Chatting together meant they were a couple, while standing apart meant they were pretending not to know each other. Whenever he had nothing to do, Lin Han checked their CP fan forum to see whether their latest performance was convincing and how many fans they'd gained. If he found a particularly entertaining analysis post, he'd send a screenshot to Qiu Xi and laugh his head off. Qiu Xi just rolled her eyes. Halfway through the show's run, the CP fans came up with a fresh new angle. They dug up loads of behind-the-scenes footage and wrote countless long analyses, all trying to prove one thing: Qiu Xi had already fallen deeply in love with Lin Han while they were filming. One day, Lin Han sent her another analysis post. "Those people have such wild imaginations. I can't believe they came up with this analysis. But why were you acting like that back then? Hahahahahaha!" Qiu Xi was silent for a long time. "Are you out of your mind? We were obviously just..." Putting on an act. A genuinely sweet, puppy-like male lead x a quick-witted female lead who plays dumb. A goofy comedy with no real-life inspirations. Theme:
