Blurb:

Jiang Richen is an obscure, little-known celebrity. He has a pretty face, but he still languishes among the lowest-tier stars.

He's been struggling in the entertainment industry like a salted fish for nearly ten years, starring in a string of terrible movies, getting mocked for his acting, and counting his fans on one hand.

With a mountain of lawsuits hanging over him, Jiang Richen has a final showdown with his company, then flings his hands up and heads back to his hometown!

Who knew he'd come back as a fraud who scams people by pretending to be a mystic?

Jiang Richen: Bro, your forehead looks dark. That's a terrible omen! For five hundred yuan, I'll make all your troubles disappear.

Then he realizes that everyone is avoiding him as if he were a lunatic.

Jiang Richen sighs. To make ends meet, he sets up a fortune-telling stall on an overpass and reads people's fortunes online.

His few fans watch their idol charge off like an unleashed wild dog down the road of superstition, and lament: It's over. Our bro's gone crazy.

Later...

Famous Movie Star: Master, save me! I'll pay whatever you ask!

Famous Director: Xiao Jiang! Take my job, and you'll get the lead in my next show!

Fans: Ahhh, bro! Do you have any more talismans for sale?

Bigwigs of the Mystic World: Kid, don't listen to them! The rise of the mystic arts depends on you!

Jiang Richen says gravely: I'm sorry, but I still have to go home and inherit the family business.
