The Entire Entertainment Industry Is Hating on Me

Blurb:

Zhao Yu entered show business at a young age. After years of tireless effort from both her and her company, she finally... became the biggest menace in the entertainment industry.

One:

Actor Zhao Yu was diligently working as an extra on set when her agent spotted her and was instantly dazzled by her, swearing to make her a top star! No one expected it to blow up in their faces.

She tried to cultivate a serene, above-it-all persona...

Hater: "Stop being shameless. Which of your current gigs didn't you steal from someone else?"

She tried to cultivate a top-student persona...

Hater: "Which school did Zhao Yu graduate from, exactly? How were her grades? She went to some no-name diploma mill and dares to call herself a top student. Where's your dignity?"

She tried to cultivate a pure, sunny-girl persona...

The haters promptly tossed out several photos.

Hater: "Are you kidding me? She looks like she's only in her teens in those photos, yet she's more practiced at smoking and drinking than some grown men. And you want to tell us she's sunny and wholesome? Get lost!"

Every persona she tried to build collapsed. Her agent covered their swollen face and gave up, but just as Zhao Yu finally let loose and stopped pretending... she suddenly became famous!

Two:

Ever since Zhao Yu entered show business, scandal after scandal followed her: smoking, drinking, fake credentials, swearing, throwing herself at people, and chasing clout. Fans kept telling her to get out of the industry. Then the face-slapping turned into a face-slapping comeback, and fans covered their faces and cried, "Okay, fine, we love her~"

It was only later that people realized that the multifaceted star Zhao Yu had been the same person all along.

This is an inspiring story about a tomboy with a tough-guy spirit who climbs her way up from the gutter, step by step, until she becomes the entertainment industry's top-tier star!

Note: 1. Zhao Yu is a woman. A woman.

2. The female lead is tough, but takes life in stride.
