The Top Scholar and the Matchmaker

Xie Zhengze is a legendary figure in Chang'an.

A provincial graduate at fourteen and a third-place palace exam graduate at seventeen, he is as elegant and handsome as a jade tree, with an excellent reputation.

The matchmaker Xue Meiying is a different kind of legend. They say... her stories are too embarrassing to tell aloud.

In truth,

The refined and dignified palace exam graduate spends every day racking his brains over how to make the little matchmaker take responsibility for him.

And the little matchmaker, rumored to have seen countless men, responds to the palace exam graduate’s flirtatious glances with an innocent question: “Is your eyelid twitching?”
