Blurb One:
They say an evil witch lives in the magical Black Forest. She eats children who wander into the woods and uses their blood to keep herself young and beautiful.
One day, the "evil" witch Aurora found an eight-year-old boy in the river behind her house and managed to bring him home as "emergency rations."
That day, Osamu Dazai, who had shrunk after getting into the water, accidentally drifted into a dark fairy-tale world and was brought home as "emergency rations" by the "evil" Miss Witch.
But thanks to Miss Witch's efforts, why is little Dazai's life as "emergency rations" getting sweeter and sweeter?
Day One:
Aurora / Young Dazai: "You're my chosen successor." / "Do you want to eat me, big sis?"
Both: "...???"
Year N:
Aurora / Dark-Era Dazai: "You're too talented. You can leave the nest now." / "I'm too useless. Keep taking care of me."
Both: "...???"
Back in Yokohama:
Enemy: "Don't worry, Dazai Osamu's hand-to-hand combat skills are below average!"
Dazai: (smiling as he pulls out a magic staff)
Aurora: "Surprised? My Dazai knows magic!"
Enemy: "...???"
Blurb Two
Aurora recently picked up a human child. To add some company to her dull life, she raises him, spoils him, and teaches him. What's mine is ours.
But the witch, who was determined to spoil the child until he couldn't live without her, realizes that she might be the one who can't live without him. What should she do?
Dazai Osamu recently shrank in age and was picked up by someone. To find a way back, he sticks close to Miss Witch, letting her raise him, spoil him, and teach him. Life as emergency rations is incredibly sweet.
But when the day comes that he can return, he realizes he might not be able to leave Miss Witch. What should he do?
Since you've been taking care of me for so long, you have to take responsibility for me to the end, Miss Witch.
A story about a not-so-evil witch who raises a child until he becomes Dazai, then eventually raises him into her partner. It starts in a dark fairy-tale otherworld, then moves to the crossover world of Yokohama.
The pairing is Dazai, who isn't much of a fighter but has learned magic!
There will be OOC moments, headcanons, and bad writing. The author isn't very smart, either (a very deliberate hint).
Theme: Salvation for a person condemned to eternal loneliness
