Zhou Shijing, the campus heartthrob at Yizhou University, has a handsome, refined face, but a cold personality.
Everyone who has ever pursued him has been rejected and left heartbroken.
Lu Xianning was no exception.
Even though he treated her like she wasn't there, she was happy to accept it.
On a bet, Lu Xianning boldly declared:
She would win Zhou Shijing over and become his girlfriend within three months.
When Zhou Shijing heard about it, he scoffed coldly. "You'd have better luck dreaming."
The three-month bet fell apart before the time was up. When a friend asked Lu Xianning how she felt, she smiled nonchalantly. "I got to kiss him once. I'd say I came out ahead."
"I'm not going to pursue him anymore."
Lu Xianning kept her word, drew a clear line between herself and Zhou Shijing, and tried her best to treat him like he wasn't there.
But later, at a university anniversary mixer, Zhou Shijing cornered her in a dim hallway.
The man advanced on her step by step and demanded coldly, "You're really not going to pursue me anymore?"
Lu Xianning's eyes were misty. Fighting down her racing heart, she softly shook her head. "I'm not."
The man gave in and let down his guard, gazing at her tenderly.
"Then I'll pursue you."

My next book will be He Summered the Summer. Please add it to your favorites:
Chen Nian has a secret no one knows: she's secretly in love with Chen Yanbai, the science whiz at her school.
She even does the craziest thing she's done in her seventeen years of life for him:
She gives up her humanities track and transfers to the science class.
Everyone is surprised, including Chen Yanbai.
One scorching summer afternoon, he sits beside her as the ceiling fan spins overhead, and the room swelters. Only the boy's clean, bright voice, carried by the breeze, reaches her ears, tinged with playfulness.
"Why leave the humanities behind and come to the science class?"
Chen Nian's pen pauses. Her heart pounds in her ears, and sweat in her palm dampens the page until the writing blurs. She turns to him and forces a calm smile, answering in a similarly playful voice: "I guess I wanted to see what a science whiz looks like."
The double meaning makes Chen Nian feel like a mast caught in a storm, as if the slightest change in Chen Yanbai's expression could be enough to make her fall apart.
But that very remark makes Chen Yanbai start paying attention to the girl beside him, who seems as insignificant as a speck of dust. His clear gaze lingers on her face, and he gives her a smile that is hard to read before extending an invitation: "The science whiz is right beside you. How would you like to take a look?"
Chen Nian's ears secretly turn red.
In high school, Chen Yanbai is exceptionally gifted, with talents people envy. Girls his age can't help falling for him.
His friends tease him, calling him "a walking heartbreaker". There's no girl who doesn't like him.
Chen Yanbai, however, doesn't think much of it. He interlaces his fingers behind his head and leans back lazily against the desk behind him. His gaze catches on the slender figure not far away, and he smiles. "That's not true. Isn't there someone right there who doesn't like me?"
Chen Nian hides her feelings for Chen Yanbai very well.
She keeps a thick diary, every line and sentence about one person, but loses it just before the college entrance exams.
Years later, the diary finds its way back to its owner. The sky is awash with sunset glow, white doves beat their wings, and the evening breeze turns the pages. At the end of one page is a line of English in familiar handwriting:
"I love you thousands of times."
She looks up instinctively. The sky glows brightly, and amid the vast sea of people, she spots that familiar figure at a glance.

There is some contradiction. In the previous chapters 61 or 62, Zhou Shijing has already returned home with Lu Xianning, and this last chapter is regarded as his first visit.
Yeah, there's an update. It's coming. It looks good~
Did you forget what you wrote yourself? Why did you write twice about meeting the heroine's parents? You obviously met them once when you were in college, but you said you haven't seen them in the extra story?
I really didn't see that the male protagonist liked the female protagonist...
What kind of ending is this? I'm a little confused.
Finally together! Sprinkle flowers!
Coming! Are you going to update it today?
One chapter per week, until all the flowers fade?
Why haven't we solved the misunderstanding~
I feel like classmate Zhong's secret love ~ it's so painful
