Xie Jiaran had a mild skin hunger but severe mysophobia. He even had to think about whether he had any wet wipes on him before shaking someone else's hand.

Whenever his skin hunger flared up, he could only try to numb himself by sleeping. Fortunately, his symptoms were mild, so it wasn't too painful.

But everything changed when Liang Sunian moved into his dorm.

He found he had absolutely no aversion to this person's closeness.

In fact, when Liang Sunian lifted his shirt hem to wipe himself off after playing basketball and stood by the court drinking water, Xie Jiaran couldn't suppress a powerful urge to be held tightly in his arms.

His sleep-it-off treatment had failed. His skin hunger had gotten worse.

One late night, Liang Sunian, unable to sleep because of the heat, got up shirtless to cool off on the balcony, where he stared at Xie Jiaran in utter bewilderment.

“What?” Liang Sunian thought the heat had made him hallucinate.

His roommate was famous for being aloof and otherworldly, and even a glance from him felt like a rare act of charity. How could he possibly say something like that to him???

Xie Jiaran fell silent for a moment.

In his usual cool voice, he repeated what he'd just said, doing his best to stay composed, though he couldn't help sounding a little resigned:

“Liang Sunian, could you give me a hug?”

Gradually distracted by his low, measured voice, Pei Yun looked up and vaguely gestured a distance.

Then Lu Que took the opportunity to pull him into his arms.

Lu Que tilted his head slightly, baring the side of his neck. “Why run? I never said you couldn't bite me.”
