The Little Golden Dragon Rented Himself Out

[Pre-release: Is the Cat’s Temple Built Yet? Come take a look~]

Long Huo is a little golden dragon who opens a matchmaking shop in the human world. He arranges for little demons who need to increase their cultivation and humans to form contracts, earning good karma in return and improving his own cultivation.

The Dragon Boss is just a middleman making a profit.

But the little golden dragon, who likes to lie flat and take it easy, accidentally loses his dragon pearl.

Without it, he can’t cultivate, or even maintain his basic human form.

Long Huo: Tsk... Drinking causes trouble...

Following its scent, the little golden dragon finds a human’s home. But after searching everywhere, he can’t find his dragon pearl, and gets caught by the man when he comes home.

The well-traveled Dragon Boss doesn’t panic in the slightest. "Would you be willing to rent me? I’m a golden dragon, you know."

Looking at the palm-sized, haughty baby dragon, the Celestial Emperor, who has descended to the mortal realm to undergo a trial of love, hides the dragon pearl he picked up.

Sheng Baiyan: So darn cute...

Is the Cat’s Temple Built Yet?

Lai Zhaocai is a calico lucky cat in the Temple of the God of Wealth. After breaking a vase, his powers are confiscated and he’s thrown back into the human world.

He’s supposed to reflect on his actions.

The cat refuses. The cat will set up shop on his own!

If he can build his own temple, he can become a true little cat god.

Lai Zhaocai plants one paw on the toe of a human’s shoe.

It’s decided. You’ve made an offering to the cat, so you’re the cat’s first follower from now on!

++

Zhou Yuting finds a calico cat.

The little calico is pretty, adorable, and clingy. It meows around him all day, and even brings him gifts when it goes out, like roof tiles, rocks, and little sticks.

Zhou Yuting turns the cat’s daily life into a comic, and it unexpectedly becomes a huge hit. The cat-themed merchandise at his creative goods shop is in such high demand that it can’t stay in stock.

Until one day, Zhou Yuting hears his cat’s thoughts.

--Temple! Temple! A temple! Useless human! I’ve brought back so many building materials. When will the cat’s temple finally be built?

Zhou Yuting: ... Oh, so that’s the kind of temple you mean.

The next day, Lai Zhaocai looks at the little cat god’s temple Zhou Yuting made for him, wraps his arms around Zhou Yuting’s arm, and meows until he’s a blubbering mess.

--The cat knew you were the best! You really are the cat’s first follower. The cat will definitely repay you!

Later on, Zhou Yuting wakes up one morning to find his cat gone. In its place, there’s a handsome young man with delicate features and sweet dimples when he smiles.

"You don’t need money anymore, so... do you need a wife?"
