When Tang Wan was 20, she met Fu Jinnan. It was R University's 70th anniversary celebration. Among the long row of guests, Tang Wan spotted Fu Jinnan in the corner at a glance.

He was the youngest person there, and the one who looked most out of place.

With just one look, Tang Wan fell for the notorious playboy, Young Master Fu.

When the vice principal was in an awkward spot, she stepped in to help and asked him, "Could I get your autograph?"

He held back a laugh, amusement in his eyes. "Sure."

His handwriting was beautiful, in the slender-gold style, with elegant, forceful strokes. He must have practiced a lot.

But that one autograph was enough to bewitch her.

Later, the towers rose and fell, all in the blink of an eye.

In their most desperate moments, Fu Jinnan asked, "Manman, tell me the truth. Did you ever really love me?"

"No. Never."
