On the day Yunzhi and Lu Yubai got married, an accident happened. Lu Yubai shielded Yunzhi and was impaled through the back.

A dual-rescue, first-love, healing sweet romance

The first time Jiang Weiyi met Shi Wen, he was leaning against a black supercar, a glowing red cigarette between his fingers, looking languid and amused.

"What are you looking at? Never seen a handsome guy before?"

The second time Jiang Weiyi met Shi Wen, he was in uniform, his lips pressed into a firm line as he stood atop Jiangbei City's tallest building. A vast sea of flames raged behind him, and the wind swept the hair from his forehead.

He held her in his arms and jumped.

He said, "Don't be afraid."

No one knew what had gotten into the Jiang family's eldest daughter.

After being kidnapped, she became hopelessly obsessed with a young police officer and wouldn't leave him alone.

Later, the Jiang family needed her to enter an arranged marriage, and Shi Wen was in a car accident while on duty, leaving him completely paralyzed from the waist down.

On a night of torrential rain, he hurled the watch she'd given him to the ground and yelled, "Get out!"

Jiang Weiyi wrapped her arms around him, her eyes red.

She said, "Don't be afraid."
