The Cosmic Games

[Abstract setting and outrageous stats, so don't take them to heart]

Higher, faster, stronger!

This slogan from the ancient Blue Star still echoes through the explosive rise of interstellar civilization thousands of years later.

In the worlds of cultivation and magic, artifacts clash with wands; among carbon- and silicon-based lifeforms, bodies evolved to their limits face off against powerful mechs...

Spectacular, thrilling, and passionate, the Interstellar Olympics are held once every forty years. In two years, the fifty-fourth games will begin. More than three hundred gold medalists will emerge from the three hundred events, earning glory and new resource star systems for their home planets.

For now, Long Lan's goal is to qualify for the games.

A body cultivator can pilot a mech? No one believes it.

The heroine, Long Lan, is a body cultivator. Her main event is individual shooting: shooting moving targets while fighting an opponent in a designated space, whether using her body, piloting a mech, or controlling an artifact.

Her secondary event is mixed-team shooting.

The events and athletes are not based on anything in real life and have no real-world significance.

I'm just making things up, so don't take it seriously.
