The Godfather Avoids the World's Persecution

As everyone knows, Sawada Tsunayoshi is the godfather of the underworld, but he isn't quite the kind of underworld godfather the public imagines.

The fake underworld godfather lives in luxury, surrounded by lovers, partying every night, and, unable to win the world's number-one hitman, angrily finds a substitute.

The real underworld godfather keeps himself chaste, yet rumors link him to several of his proxy's secret identities. He watches in terror as the rumors spiral out of control, and tries in vain to explain through tears that he's not a player, not an expert at keeping everyone happy, and not dating several people at once.

Colluding with the Vindice prison to seize control of Mersault Prison through despicable means and plot to control ability users: no.

Sending spies to infiltrate BLUE, the world-class detective training school, in an attempt to turn it into a breeding ground for criminals: no.

Using every means possible to poach talent from other organizations and bring them into the Vongola family, creating a new generation of map editors: no.

Natural disasters already cost enough. He also keeps nuking small islands, so there's no budget left: yes.

So you two Double Blacks, stay away! And that detective and police officer duo, too!

Mass murderer, puppeteer of politicians, manipulator of hearts, unfathomable schemer who holds everyone's weaknesses over the Guardians and allied families to keep them in line: no.

Buried in depreciation on fixed assets, endless alliance meetings, forced to moonlight as a world savior, and constantly drafted to act as the neighborhood committee chairman in Sicily and settle disputes between neighbors: yes.

And then the proxy beats him up for asking things like, "Can we get Hibari-senpai to work as a tunnel-boring machine?" "Could we borrow Enma's ring and use gravity to lay the building's foundation more solidly?" "Could Takeshi's box weapon, combined with the Zero Point Breakthrough, change Sicily's summer heat?": yes.

Murdering people to seize the title of next Golden King, which is already his by default, and planning to conquer the world: no.

Refusing to take on even one extra job, not even wanting to be godfather, and constantly planning to quit early and lie flat: yes.

"So, I've decided to skip work."

The gentle young man rolled up his shirt sleeves. His voice was as soft and unhurried as ever, but every word carried an undeniable weight.

"You'll lend me the Hyper Dying Will Ring teleportation System, won't you, Byakuran?"
