It's Time for Someone Else to Take the Throne

Life was very good when she was forcibly claiming the Daoist priest.

Yan Huan even had a fit of kindness and adopted two children.

The boy was clever and the girl quick-witted. Yan Huan planned for the four of them to live together like this, until one day she learned that the two children were actually the hero and heroine as youngsters.

Yan Huan shut the door and whispered with the Daoist priest. They decided this was fine too. If the hero and heroine were always competing to be held by her, they surely wouldn't rebel like they did in the novel.

Just as Yan Huan thought she had changed the novel's plot, unrest broke out at the border, and the emperor ordered her to marry into another country.
