Everyone Says Fake Couple Promotions Never Lead to Real Love (Entertainment Industry)

Noticing the camera, Rong Xiao deliberately shifted closer to Zhou Jingxing's seat. After thinking for a moment, he 'naturally' rested his right hand on the other man's thigh. He thought, Hmm, not bad. This should give them a bit of couple chemistry. Then, the very next second, a hand covered his left hand, and their fingers intertwined. Rong Xiao (completely dumbfounded and shocked): WTF???!!! Zhou Jingxing leaned close to the other's ear as if sharing a joke, while his other hand firmly circled the person trying to escape. He smiled in revenge. “Captain, act natural. Weren't we supposed to play up our couple image?” Rong Xiao kept his expression under control, smiling gently and elegantly. “W-we don't need to get this close...” Zhou Jingxing gazed at him 'lovingly.' “Captain, that's not what you said in bed before.” ???? Don't make it sound so suggestive! He was just sitting on the bed, trying to convince him to cooperate with the company's couple-marketing strategy! At first, Zhou Jingxing was unwilling to market himself as part of a couple with anyone. But then he realized it was pretty entertaining to tease his captain, who took everything seriously and even read danmei novels to prepare for marketing a male-male pairing. Later, someone interviewed the fans and asked when they realized the pairing was real. One fan recalled it with a look of tragic resignation: “When everyone started voluntarily cleaning up the internet, deleting all the fanworks and recap posts themselves, and telling everyone they were just brothers, not lovers.” What could they do? The stars themselves were being so blatant that the fans were worried about what would happen if they were outed! Please, keep it low-key. Setting: Same-sex marriage is legal, but not mainstream, and comes with some public pressure. Pairing: Zhou Jingxing x Rong Xiao Theme: None
