Miss Qi, an Ordinary Citizen

Bus 309 plunged into the deep sea, and everyone aboard disappeared. Qi Lingxuan was the only survivor. When she woke up, she was lying in the intensive care unit. The doctor told her, "Your older brother has finally been waiting for you to wake up." The police comforted her: "At least you still have family." The handsome, gentle man clasped her hand, his eyes red as he vowed, "Xuanxuan, from now on, I'll protect you with my life." Qi Lingxuan glanced at the priceless watch on his wrist, then thought about the hospital bill she still hadn't paid off. A docile smile appeared on her pale face, and she nodded gratefully. Yet there was one thing she knew for certain. She was an only child. And the man claiming to be her older brother had no idea she was a broke nobody who'd run herself ragged for a 200-yuan perfect-attendance bonus. This is a world ruled by the Divinely Chosen. Countless "ruins" have reappeared in the world. People risk their lives to enter them, hoping to earn the recognition of heroic spirits and inherit the power of the gods. Everyone bows and scrapes before the heroic spirits, making fools of themselves. Only Qi Lingxuan stands in the shadows, expressionless as she sizes up those lofty "heroic spirits." How strange. Why do these arrogant heroic spirits all... tremble when they see her? Later, as the old gods prepare to awaken and the world sinks into despair, a colossal divine throne descends. While all of humanity kneels to pray, Qi Lingxuan climbs the thorn-covered throne step by step. She kicks away the old god trying to awaken and crowns herself. This seat belongs to her alone. Light Lovecraftian elements, not a traditional infinite-flow story. The heroine is a badass. Theme: Never give up on yourself
