Helping Dragons for Fun

[Poor, scatterbrained shopkeeper bottom x ancient Zhulong dragon noble top]

Xia Chengqi thinks his life is short on luck. He worked hard and stayed up late at school, only to get average grades. At last, he seized an opportunity and opened a Hanfu shop, only to find the industry already saturated, dominated by cute styles and big-name influencers.

The poor shopkeeper spreads his hands: I'm doing this for love. Just please don't let the shop go under.

Then one rainy night, he finds someone at the entrance to his shop... a ridiculously handsome guy?

Facing the tall, long-legged man with his elegant bearing, Xia Chengqi steels himself. "I really don't have the money to keep you!"

The handsome man smiles faintly. "Then how about I help you make money so you can keep me?"

He models for the shop's promotional photos. Customers: How did I never realize this outfit looked so ethereal?

He represents the shop at a Hanfu convention. Fans: How have I never followed a shop this amazing? I'm buying something!

He helps the shopkeeper buy production lines and build a brand. Everyone: Are you actually a rich kid slumming it for the experience?

Xia Chengqi thinks his lucky break has finally arrived. Most importantly, he has to keep this lucky charm by any means necessary.

But the handsome man grabs his wrist with a beaming smile. "Human, have you finally decided to provide for me?"

He thought he was supporting an investor. Later, he learns the man isn't human at all.

And he wants Xia Chengqi to be his.
