[The Butterfly Lovers] I Really Didn't Mean To

[The author's profile has lots of completed stories! \(^o^)/]

Lu Ying figures she's probably one of the unluckiest people to transmigrate. To keep her clan from dying out, she was raised as a boy. When she reached her teens, she left home to study at an academy so her clan wouldn't discover her true identity.

But why do all these people sound so familiar? Liang Shanbo? Zhu Yingtai? Ma Wencai? Right, now she knows where she's ended up.

Um, Young Master Ma, I really didn't mean to get you interested in me. I had my reasons, honestly! The System led me astray, sob!

Ma Wencai is certain that the little runt called Lu Ying did it on purpose. How dare she try to seduce him? Hmph, he's absolutely not falling for it! Well... maybe he could fall for it just a little.

A timid heroine who just wants to keep her head down but gets forced into the fray × a hero who gets turned gay, then straight again, and nearly ends up as tangled as a coil

Notes:

1. The hero is handsome. Don't ask the author why, just accept that he's handsome.

2. This is an alternate-history Jin Dynasty. Please overlook any plot holes. The author isn't very bright.

3. Academy life in the first half, infrastructure building in the second. The leads come to understand, love, and support each other.

[My friend's story: The World Falls [Marvel and DC] - A Peculiar Mushroom with an Unusual Brain. Steve Rogers' nightmare begins with Nancy's fall and ends with her rebirth.]

Theme: Understanding and loving one another, and supporting each other
