The Female Magistrate of Liaozhai

Mu Wenqing is a county magistrate in the Xia Dynasty, often praised for her impartiality, decisiveness, and fearlessness in the face of ghosts and gods. Even those above her have commended her.

Mu Wenqing only smiles at this. It's not that she isn't afraid of ghosts and gods. She's terrified of monsters, honestly. But when every monster she sees looks like a little fuse-bead figure, there's not much to be afraid of. Their attacks feel like being pelted with fuse beads, and she can even take the monsters apart like fuse-bead figures. That makes them even less scary.

A version of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio starring fuse-bead figures. You have to see it to understand! (In a Jianbing Guozi vendor's accent~)
