[Wuxia Crossover] I'm Really Not the Senior Brother

Ling Hao, surnamed Ling and given the name Hao, was descended from a branch of the Linghu clan. Over time, the surname had gradually become Ling. Though her surname was unusual and her name was pretty unusual too, Ling Hao thought there was nothing else special about her, until she transmigrated. After arriving in this new world, she was picked up by a strange old man, who took her in and taught her martial arts and swordsmanship. Once she had learned enough, he kicked her down the mountain and told her to reclaim everything their lineage had lost. Ling Hao was left with a head full of question marks. Master, she couldn't do it! Even if she knew swordsmanship, she still couldn't do it! Her master wouldn't listen and refused to let her come back. With no other choice, she set off into the martial world with a battered sword that didn't even have a scabbard. Who knew she'd be utterly dumbfounded once she got down the mountain? What did they mean, the sword technique she'd learned was the Nine Swords of Such-and-Such? What did they mean, she was the senior apprentice brother? Hey, hey, hey! Senior Brother Linghu was a man, and she was a woman. Their genders were completely different. She should at least be Senior Sister! Much later, after becoming sect leader, Ling Hao solemnly insisted over and over to her partner and her disciple that she really had nothing to do with that Senior Brother. Really. Some Young Master: I believe you. Disciple Lin: All right, Master. I believe you. Ling Hao: ... No, your faces clearly say you don't believe me!!! Theme: Build a better life with your own hands
