As he watches his popularity grow and the worldly entanglements pile up, Xi Wuyou is so anxious he could cry.

Hugging his fluffy tail, Xi Wuyou is very pleased. "Now I can slack off in peace!"
Who knew that a genius director would take an interest in the terrible drama, and that it would become a surprise hit before filming even began?
That's not all. The thing that sends the fox into a panic is that this director is a Celestial Master.
With the risk of being sealed in a jar hanging over his head, Xi Wuyou keeps his tail tucked between his legs and works nervously, walking a tightrope every day.

Looking the fluffy "Samoyed" in front of him up and down, Qi Ran raises an eyebrow and says nothing.
Xi Wuyou is so startled he forgets he's pretending to be a dog. "...Meow."
The man and fox stare at each other for a while. Xi Wuyou lifts a paw to run, but someone grabs his tail and gives him a thorough pet, all the way down to the base.
Qi Ran smiles, eyes curved, and says in a low voice, "If you're going to bribe the director, you need to do a better job. Shake hands. You know how, right?"
Xi Wuyou: "..."
Xi Wuyou is terribly aggrieved. I'm pretending to be a dog, but you're the real dog.
