Meng Chang was the founding senior brother of Qiaohua Sect.
His daily duties included cleaning up messes for his junior brothers, his junior sisters, and his master. He got up earlier than a chicken and went to bed later than a dog. He had the physique of an ox, the spirit of a horse, and the voice of a donkey.
"Li Xiaotian! Get down from the roof!"
"Fang Yan! How did you break your sword again?"
"Bai Renran! Don't roast fish in the alchemy furnace! And no roasting chicken, either!"
By midday, the senior brother was hoarse and utterly exhausted. Then he suddenly realized someone was missing.
"Wait, where's Master?"
"A monster from the neighboring mountain took him~"
The senior brother's vision went black. He grabbed his sword and charged up the neighboring mountain, only to find his own master, now the size of a little child, riding on the back of a leopard bristling with baleful energy. The little master waved his tiny hands at him excitedly and said:
"Mengmeng, I found a big kitty! Can we keep it at the sect?"
The senior brother sheathed his sword, drew a deep breath, and roared, "Do I look like a cat to you?!"

The junior brothers and sisters all said the sect's name sounded terribly unrefined. Taken literally, it sounded like a wildflower on a mountain.
Their master argued that he'd chosen the name based on classic texts. There was even a folk song that went: "See buckwheat bloom and mung beans sprout. No right, no wrong, the farmer's heart is light."
He hoped everyone at the sect could spend each day cultivating and each day in good spirits.
Junior brother Li Xiaotian: "Then why not call it Mung Bean Sect?"
Junior sister Bai Renran: "I think Sprout Sect would be better."
Junior sister Fang Yan: "No Right Sect or No Wrong Sect would sound more proper."
Their master clucked his tongue in protest. "Don't you think your senior brother is like a flower?"
With a sharp flick to the forehead, the flowery senior brother showed his master just how red a flower could be.

A cold-faced, long-suffering senior brother x a recklessly carefree little master
Meng Chang x Chuji
Switch, either way; sorry if that's not your thing.
In his everyday form, the master is a tiny, short-limbed boy. At crucial moments, he can change back into an adult.
A lively, ensemble-style sect story. Besides the junior brothers and sisters mentioned in the blurb, there's one more junior brother.
The only couple is the senior brother and his master. Everyone else is just friends.
The folk song mentioned in the blurb comes from Lu Zhi's tune "To the Tune of Toad Palace Song" from the Yuan Dynasty.
